Rosehips
high in vitamin C and wonderful in treating all sorts of inflammation, helping to relieve sore throats and congestion.
Licorice
brings its sweetness to this tea, as well as its anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to soothe and protect the lining of your mouth and throat. The lungs also benefit from licorice as it helps to clear out excess mucus while also relieving coughing.
Lemon peel
adds a lovely citrus tang to this tea, supports immune function, and is high in vitamin C.
Elderberry
has a sweet, pungent taste. It is Immunomodulation, antiviral, antibacterial, and high in antioxidants. It is fabulous during times of colds, sinusitis, hay fever, allergies, nasal catarrh, and fever.
Chamomile
has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant constituents which both help support immune system health and activity.
Echinacea
stimulates the immune system by activating macrophages and elevating white blood cell levels in the body and can help inhibit the ability of viruses to enter and take over the cell. It is traditionally used for the onset of colds & flu, sore throats, respiratory infections.
As a diaphoretic, it helps stimulate circulation and sweating and supports a fever to do its job. Its anti-inflammatory actions help relieve symptoms caused by the infectious stage of an illness. Echinacea also helps relieve allergic reactions and symptoms by working with histamine response.
Calendula
helps to soothe mucous membranes and supports your lymphatic system.
Hibiscus
brings a tart zing to this blend and has a high vitamin C content.
