This tea contains a blend of herbs that have been chosen by a Naturopath to support you in the lead up to giving birth. The herbs in this tea have traditionally been used in the last weeks of pregnancy. They will help tone and prepare the uterine muscles in the lead up to labour. Helping you to achieve a smoother birth process. It supports you by helping contractions be more coordinated and effective. Additionally, it provides support after you give birth, aiding in recovery.
This Partus Prep Tea contains all certified organic ingredients of raspberry leaves, spearmint, chamomile, and lemon balm.
This tea has a subtle, sweet flavour thanks to the spearmint and lemon balm. The number of cups of this tea that you drink should slowly increase as follows:
36 weeks -1 cup daily
37 weeks -2 cups daily
38 weeks – 3 cups daily
39 weeks – 4 cups daily
40 weeks – 5 cups daily
The tea can be enjoyed hot or cold over ice mixed with fresh mint, sliced lemon, honey, or stevia.
Directions: Place a heaped teaspoon of this tea into your teapot or strainer. Pour over the boiling water and allow it to sit for 5-8 minutes. You can steep this tea for longer to really draw out the goodness from the herbs.
