Lou is a certified Heartmath and Immune Function Practitioner and Counsellor in training.

Lou’s interest in health and wellbeing was sparked many years ago, but she decided to pursue a career in wine and environmental science. After working on her PhD in Regenerative Agriculture for two years, she decided that she would be able to serve others better through studying health-related topics. Currently completing her Masters in Counselling, her interest in the mind-body connection led her to complete studies with Heartmath and ACNEM, which she feels give her a more comprehensive basis for helping clients build a strong foundation for wellbeing.

Her approach allows her to work with clients on changing their physiology as a starting point in the healing process. This then allows other, external factors, to be addressed more effectively as it primes the body to respond to treatment. Her science-based approach is grounded in data using biofeedback monitoring and blood testing, as well as your lived experience. Working with Lou will give you insight into your physiology as the basis for a holistic and functional approach that incorporates interactions between your genetics, nutrition, and immune system functioning.

Lou is a big believer in a personalised approach to wellbeing. This approach takes into account how our biology is expressed through our thoughts, emotions, and interactions with the external world to produce our state of wellbeing. Through a systematic approach that addresses the specific biology, physiology, and context of each individual, she aims to empower her clients with the tools and knowledge to begin the work of healing from illness and optimising wellbeing from within.

In her spare time, you can find Lou making wine, running the trails of Ballarat, reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, or cooking up a storm for family and friends.
