About Christine

Christine specializes in holistic counselling and is committed to finding more compassionate and effective ways to help people feel mentally well. She has worked in adult and paediatric mental health in Melbourne and Ballarat, and in education settings delivering student support programs.

Taking a holistic approach to care, Christine guides clients to uncover root causes, rather than solely working on symptom management, to create more flow and balance in their lives. She weaves together her grounding in psychological science and counselling with other modalities, including mindfulness, meditation, yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT trauma tapping) and process-work (process-oriented psychology).

Believing that connection and compassion is integral to a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, Christine focuses on providing a warm and caring space for clients to feel like they are a person beyond their symptoms, in control of their care plan, and can trust their intuition. Christine enjoys working collaboratively with those in her care and their greater support network to help them reach their mental wellness goals.

Christine Offers:

  • Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • EFT/TTT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Trauma Tapping Technique) – incorporated into Holistic Counselling sessions as needed
  • Workshops and courses focusing on women’s health and spirituality
  • Yoga classes and individual yoga mentoring for physical and/or mental health
  • Corporate speaking on mental wellness

Christine’s’ vision is for people to be able to live in a balanced and aligned lives, where they can acknowledge their strengths and limitations, fulfill their potential, and impact their community in positive and meaningful ways. She supports individuals to move from feeling overwhelmed and burnt out, to feeling energised and living with clarity and purpose.

What Is Holistic Counselling?

Holistic counselling works with the entirety of the person, their body, mind and spirit. It views physiological and psychological disorders as only parts of a greater whole, and values body symptoms as important information that guides us towards alignment and balance.

  • This empowers clients to discover and access their inner wisdom, grow self-awareness and self-acceptance, and build internal resources and skills.
  • This means not losing the individual in their symptoms and acknowledging their inherent worthiness and wholeness.
