Earache Relief: Things You’ll Need

  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp of Dried Mullein Flowers
  • 400mL organic oil (preferably olive oil)
  • Jars – one that’s airtight and sterilised jars for storage
  • Cheesecloth

What to do:

  1. Grate the garlic into the airtight jar.
  2. Add Mullein to the jar. Fill the jar with oil, completely submerge the herbs.
  3. Seal the jar and store it for 4 weeks.
  4. Strain the oil while removing the Garlic and Mullein, and place in the other jar/s.
  5. Store in the fridge.

When using this infused oil, you need to be careful that you don’t have eardrum damage. It is good for an achy or uncomfortable ear. Warm to body temperature before using.

To use, lie with the sore ear facing upwards and place two drops into the ear.
